Pros And Cons Of Diesels – If You Are Considering Buying A Diesel-powered Car
August 14th, 2009 · No Comments
If you're considering buying a diesel-powered vehicle, take a good look at this article before you decide.
To accurately compare diesel vehicles with traditional gasoline-powered vehicles, you need to consider a number of pros and cons.
PRO: Diesels get great mileage.
CON: So do vehicles with fuel-efficient gasoline-powered engines, which often cost a couple of thousand dollars less than diesels. You can buy a lot of gas for a couple of thousand dollars! Diesel fuel is not available at many service stations, and although it used to be cheaper than gasoline, it now often costs as much - or more - than gasoline, and it may become even more expensive, depending on availability and demand.

Electric Car Conversion Guide
Quite a few of the more environmentally aware celebrities, such as George Clooney, Danny DeVito and Matt Damon driving electric cars, you have to ask yourself, “is it because they can not afford to fill them up with gasoline?” I think not.
Electric Car Conversion Guide
Why the conversion to electric then?
Aside from no longer having to pay the cost of gasoline, the other benefits include a much smoother ride, less upkeep, a cleaner and quieter engine, a lot less pollution and tax incentives.
Electric Car Conversion Guide
If there is such a thing as a “best way to proceed”, then you still need to choose between your options, buying a working electric vehicle outright, using an electric vehicle conversion kit, or building your own from scratch.

Used japanese car
June 24th, 2009 · No Comments
Purchasing a Japanese secondhand car can save you a lot of money. The Japanese have called on secondhand car dealers to export these cars. The merchandising is frequently managed by auctions.
Since the emissions requirement in Japan is very high. These exported old cars often do meet the emission requirements by other countries. So the cars do meet the emission requirements of other countries and the car can be immediately be applied on roads outside Japan. The soleproblem that could pose a problem is the location of the steering wheel. Japanese cars are driven on the left side of the road. So the steering wheel is on the right side of the car. Nevertheless, buying a Japanese secondhand car can spare you quite a little money, even after factoring out the cost of transporting a secondhand Japanese car from Japan to the United States and relocating the steering wheel to the left side of the car. Japanese secondhand cars are exported nearly everywhere internationally.

The Latest Trends In Car Customizing
March 10th, 2008 · No Comments
Over the years, many different trends have come and gone in the car accessory field. Trendy fads that were once popular include neon under body kits, 13” wire wheels pushed out, neon washer nozzles, headlight and taillight covers, air shocks and huge rear spoilers, just to name a few. These days, many of the same styles from the past are still popular but with a slightly different interpretation or style.
One such item that has come and gone over the years is smoked headlight and taillight covers. These items were very popular in the mid to late nineties and sales slowed down early in the new millennium. However, many people still like the look of blacked out headlights, just without the many downfalls of lexan covers such as bad fitting parts, issues with the covers coming off due to installation with double-sided tape, and the biggest downfall of these items: dramatically reduced light after dark. These products also came under close scrutiny by local law enforcement officials over the years for their reduction in light that caused many accidents.

Car Repair Estimates - 2 Vital Tips To Win The Car Repair Dating Game - For Women Only
March 7th, 2008 · No Comments
In my time on this Earth I am frequently blown away by the patterns repeating all around us. For example: the striking similarity between shopping for car repair estimates and dating.
I’m a guy, and by social default that means I have to go out into the world and locate a mate. Where do I go? What do I say when I find someone? How do I make it to the next level… all these questions and more are what fill mens heads every time they stroll out with their faces shaved and their hair nicely tweaked. It’s also a very similar variation to what business owners go through when they open a car repair shop. Where do I go to get customers? What do I say when they come in? How do I convince them to buy? See the pattern? There is also another rule in the dating game: nice guys finish last. Or another variation: chicks dig jerks. Why is it you’ll always see the most attractive women hanging on the arms of men you know are treating them horribly? It’s because the jerks don’t care and will say anything to get her in bed.

Monthly Car Sales Announcements Help Identify The Best Time To Buy
March 6th, 2008 · No Comments
If you’re in the market for a new car, watching for the monthly car sale numbers announced by the major automakers can often help you determine if it would be best to buy now, or to wait a bit more for better prices.
When there’s solid consumer demand and car sales are brisk, prices remain strong. Without any existing hints of weakness, it’s unlikely we would see better deals due to increased manufacturer incentives and/or Dealer discounts (although we can see this at times on particularly slow-selling models).
When car sales are weak, look for added incentives and more attractive financing deals to move vehicles off the lots. This is a much better time to negotiate your very best deal.
